The Surface Sometimes Cracks

A new world....sort of. Welcome to the beginning, although there is no significant reason to begin this now, except to give you a glimpse into my life. Boring at times, extraordinary at times, I hope to keep you informed of not only the events of my life that are noteworthy, but also the little moments that make make me laugh, cry, a scent or taste or sight that recalls a memory of a person or place in my life.

Basic on me? I'm in my mid-twenties, living in New England, enjoying life as it comes. I have a job that I like most days (don't we all) and I have a passion for art, music, and theater. I love my friends and family, and try to "always look on the bright side of life" *whistles*.

Anyone mentioned in my blog will have a fake name, to protect their privacy (and mine, to an extent). I hope you enjoy what you read, as I love to entertain...

What am I up to right now? Well, other than posting, I am enjoying a quiet Friday night at home alone. I made clam chowder for dinner, and I picked up the cheapest bottle possible of White Zinfandel which I am sipping while watching Season 1 of Alias. My friend Blake got me into it exactly a week ago, and I have 2 disc left to watch. I am loving the fast pace of the show, and Jennifer Garner/Victor Garber/Michael Vartan are a fantastic trio of actors. And the guest stars are pretty fantastic as well! Gina Torres (Firefly, anyone?) and Roger Moore are my favorites so far. How can you not love that 007 has a guest star role on an American CIA show?

Well, I have a couple more episodes to watch, and the Pirate's Booty is calling from a-yonder.

Break a leg!
